As above, installed new boiler and pump. Grundfos 15-60. When the pump stops water shoots out of the open vent. It is configured correctly, when it first happend I thought the cf could be partially blocked so I renewed it to no avail. Open vent was at least 300mm above the tank. I know it should be higher but it doesnt normally cause this problem

Any Ideas what could be causing it?

Is the pump over run working correctly? The pump should run on for at least five minutes.

3 speedfit unions and a bit of pipe in your pocket. Tell them you left your new knipex in the loft

Its a bit harder to hide the blowlamp flux and solder in yer pockets and they will hear you rumping a compression up lol

But on a serious note, rare for me I know. Don't speed fit only seal on positive pressure?

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...

Hello all, I'm would like to extend an existing outside tap to another point in the garden. I'm about to pour a concrete patio and was hoping to run the water line underneath. There are existing drain (and who knows what) pipes running along the same wall so I'm nervous about digging too far...
