Hi as a Vaillant man I have a situation wher i need to fit a vented boiler in an existing location (under a kitchen work top) and it requires a rear flue. The only boiler I can think of and after a brief search confirmed, is the Glow Worm flexicom which is an A rated appliance only just mind and I can set it up with weather comp etc. Can anyone recommend anything else or endorse this boiler. I have a concern over the alluminium heat exchanger if I am honest apart from that it looks okay. I have fitted a few betacoms for tight landlords and those who are on a budget but never a Flexicom. I did say to the guy to keep the mexico as it is clean as a whistle but he wants a condensing boiler in that space tree hugger.

Vokera do the Mynute which is rear flue. May be worth a look.

Thanks did a mynute a few months ago it was top flued and quite big for aOV boiler I thought. Will check though thanks again.

Fitted a few SX's a few years a ago, 5 or 6 from memory, no call backs to any of them.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll give the mexico a miss and will opt for the Glow Worm. Fitted a few Glo Worms in my time and not had any issues with them just not this particular boiler. It ticks all the boxes, weather comp, A rated (just) rear flue so it fits in the space. will still be a bugger though!!

Did a check on a flexicom the other day under work top,by BG,top pipes were tight to work top underside and finger vent teed off downwards slightly, however it could have been droped a bit as about 100mm from floor,so should fit in Ok
Good luck :)

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...
