web
Web is a computer programming system created by Donald E. Knuth as the first implementation of what he called "literate programming": the idea that one could create software as works of literature, by embedding source code inside descriptive text, rather than the reverse (as is common practice in most programming languages), in an order that is convenient for exposition to human readers, rather than in the order demanded by the compiler.Web consists of two secondary programs: TANGLE, which produces compilable Pascal code from the source texts, and WEAVE, which produces nicely-formatted, printable documentation using TeX.
CWEB is a version of Web for the C programming language, while noweb is a separate literate programming tool, which is inspired by Web (as reflected in the name) and which is language agnostic.
The most significant programs written in Web are TeX and Metafont. Modern TeX distributions use another program Web2C to convert Web source to C.

does anyone have any recording or wav files
of 'water hammer'?
My problem (in my council) flat is the sound of
a rasping, vibrating, low whining/screeching/groaning 'Tuba' that lasts for
up to 2 seconds. It is horrible and keeps me awake night after night.
At first I thought it was the...

Why is it in the UK combi boilers are just that, without hot water storage built into the boiler frame work

Hi folks, newbie here.
We are installing a replacement boiler for our aged but reliable Myson Marathon 600B (17.3Kw output). We have decided on Worcester Bosch, mainly on reputation, but cannot decide which size. Our plumber reckons that the 24Ri (24Kw output) will be okay, but I'm thinking of...

I'm interested to know if this is worthwhile as I have yet to complete my plumbing system. All the web info seems to be from USA. Seems to make sense if hot water immediately available, then less water down the drain. But maybe the cost of circulation pump electricity is a drawback.
I'd like to...
