shower head
A shower is a place in which a person bathes under a spray of typically warm or hot water. Indoors, there is a drain in the floor. Most showers have temperature, spray pressure and adjustable showerhead nozzle. The simplest showers have a swivelling nozzle aiming down on the user, while more complex showers have a showerhead connected to a hose that has a mounting bracket. This allows the showerer to hold the showerhead by hand to spray the water at different parts of their body. A shower can be installed in a small shower stall or bathtub with a plastic shower curtain or door. Showering is common in Western culture due to the efficiency of using it compared with a bathtub. Its use in hygiene is, therefore, common practice.

Hello! I for the life of me can't figure out how to install a new shower head given the shower arm I presently have.
At first I thought a "ball end shower arm adapter" would do the trick, but the ball on my set up is attached not to the arm, but the shower head itself. Help!
Here's the shower...
Good afternoon!
Is there any chance I can still find this model of bracket slider somewhere or is it way too old?
https://www.showerdoc.com/newteam-spirit-rail-bracket-slider-white-sp-280-0590-wt
I broke it today and I don't want to change everything just yet.
Thank you.
I'm trying to use the standard shower pipe and a shower wand without having to install a diverter since the tile work is already done. Is there anything available like in the sketch?
so long story short...

new shower installed
new shower going and cold
heat exchanger plate replaced
shower still hot and cold
kitchen hot tap (not a mixer staying hot)
just removed the shower head on the new shower to test the water coming directly through...
I need to find an apron shower head which fits an 1980s arm. The thread on the arm is either 7/8th inch or possibly 15/16th inch. It is unfortunately neither g1/2 not g3/4 thread.
Can anybody give me a link to an apron shower head (my current one is 5 inch diameter) which will screw onto my...
Does anyone know how i solve this problem.
I broke my shower head the other night while cleaning it. The metal has sheared off at the elbow joint in the wall which connects to the copper water feed from the valve.
So i have the elbow joint still in place and secure, but it has the threaded bit...
See pics.
They want more pressure to the shower head but want the cheapest option. Any suggestions?
Water pressure to the bathroom is good it's just the shower head that's a bit tame.
My suggestion would be to fit a new bar shower and a pump.
What else could be done?
Im trying to service the Cartridge on my Bristan Rio Mixer, and I’m stuck! The instructions from Bristan don’t make sense when compared to the unit.
I’ve taken off the tap head part from the thermostat control. I can’t find any grub screw under any where to expose the Cartridge. Might it be...

Have a 2400sqft house built in 2000 with not great design if I'm totally honest. Large open planned living, dining, kitchen (75sq meters). Large windows and French doors and not great insulation. I'll be separating living area from dining/kitchen with double doors. I'm getting walls pumped next...
Hi,
I am not a plumber! I'm pretty good at DIY and I learn quickly but my dad always told me not to mess with electricity, gas or plumbing and dad's always right of course.
I live in Malta but am English and need advise from proper plumbers who know what they're doing instead of the cowboys...

Hello, I am wondering if you can help! We have a square rainfall shower head and there is a green gunk forming where the connection from the arm to the actual shower head is, which is causing the shower to stop working. I understand this may be a build up of limescale etc. but I rigorously clean...

Hi,
I've recently bought a house. The bathroom as a shower head on the sink.
Would it be possible to cap this off? If so, what tools/pieces would I need?
Also, would the water need to be turned off completely when taking off the shower head?
Thanks
OK I give up, I've spent ages looking for this but can't find one. A chrome shower head with a nozzle or head that can be angled in different directions but which also has a bottom inlet for surface mounted pipework. Any suggestions please post details.
Thanks

Need a bit of advice.
I just moved into a house and yesterday I noticed that the shower head and valve are not centered. My first thought is that the timber is running in the center and they couldn't center the shower pipes for the head and valve.
