Hello hope someone can help.

So this morning woke up to a f28 on my Vaillant eco tec pro 28.so did the usual things checked standing pressure and working pressure by three rings on the hob all good.just to be safe called cadent to check the regulator to make sure nothing was wrong on that side but wasn’t any thing wrong.

So I started to check gas valve the filter inside to see if blocked but wasn’t.so connected all back up and did a tightness test on the section from the isolator under the boiler to the inlet on the gas valve and there is drop but used old fibre washers.

I’ve ordered a new spark lead and spark electrode.plus gas valve just in case these where from the advise form Vaillant tech line to fit.

So just advice on the gas supply to the gas valve I’m i right on saying there should be no drop on the inlet point once the boiler is isolated or is the gas valve faulty allowing it to pass as it might sticking.also is there anything thing else a f28 might be

Oh I’ve just passed my acs last week so I’m a newbie

No drop at all

did the pressure drop when the boiler was isolated (gas valve) when it tries to fire ?
