Hi,

In anyone's experience, does hot weather have an impact upon air admittance valves?

We have an AAV in out WC (see photo) and in the hot weather the bathroom stinks of sewage. Any ideas of what could be causing this?

Thanks

It is best to drop some bleach down each trap inc.all bogs and washing machine traps after putting clear water down first.
We do this in the holiday lets in hot weather and when we close up for the winter and leave the plugs in sinks and basins

The Mk1 human nostril is often the best detection device here.
It's rare but the aav can fail open, more common when used outside.
It can also fail closed which will pull the trap out of the basin.
But if it's hot weather related then evaporation your best bet.

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...
