Hi guys,

After my major boiler and central heating debacle last year I thought all was well with our Potterton Main Eco - that was until 3 weeks ago.

While having the central heating on the 'E119' error message suddenly appeared about that time, so I topped up the boiler to around 1 bar. After about an hour I noticed the pressure had risen to 3, then after another 1/2hr it hit max 4.

The prv appeared to kick in as the pressure then started to go down and the discharge pipe dripped with the excess water.

About a week later the same thing happened - E119, top up to 1 bar, pressure rose to 4 then prv discharges excess.

This is now happening daily so clearly something is wrong. I'm going to call the plumber who helped me out of last year's central heating woes tomorrow but in the meantime does anyone have an idea what could possibly be causing this? I did doing a Google search and a faulty expansion vessel and/faulty prv popped up a couple times. I'd just like some extra advice before I speak to my plumber.

Thanks for any advice and hope you all had a happy new year :)!
