Hi guys,

I know this has probably cropped up a million times before but... overflow runs occasionally when heating is on ( vented system ). I changed the ball valve in the F&E tank as is was ancient and in a bad state - also lowered the water level in the tank by a couple of inches but not sure if this will do the trick. Any other solutions?

cheers

dave

turn stat down on boiler, make sure water level not to high in jockey tank, bale it out, check b/v water inlet level not to high, this tank allows for expansion of water

Hi. Asalready said. But if it continues? Isolate mains to cistern and monitor water level, if is continues to over flow it may be a coil in cylinder problem.

cant see it being coil in cylinder ,hot water would be dirty out of tap

Hi everyone, Looking for a bit of advice, recently went to a job where heating was operating when called for however not for the hot water. I have changed the 3 port actuator Honeywell head however this doesn’t seem to have solved the issue, does this mean that the programmer is faulty? Or is...
