I'm on a new build the boiler is in the garage. I have the option of drilling straight out with the condensate in to the stack. Or drilling through from the garage to the house to tee in to the kitchen sink waste. So it's either coring out and coming out with that black dot is.

What drill bits do you guys use for drilling thick porcelain tiles? Got 4 bathrooms to second fix with 10mm thick tough porcelain tiles. I’ve tried loads of different bits over the years and just don’t find they last very long.

Anyone know how to open the as I have a drill bit stuck in it that I cannot get out. This has happened before and I have been able to get it open with my hand and on some occasions with grips but this time It just stalls.

Can anyone suggest a good drill for core bits that doesn't weigh a ton and can handle up to 6" cores. I have had a couple of different ones now. The old Titan cheap but very heavy is still going, but my marcarist bit the dust not even a year old and faulty. Taken back to suppliers.
