This is the daddy of cordless drills
5ah brushless lithium Makita
I've an older version with brushes, amazing drill
Shes a one handed core drill125 Nm of torque!!! That's serious torque for a combi.
That's obviously one of Screwfix real professional drills.
hmm, cost a fortune those batteries!.
bet not a lot of you know that B&Q sell a lot of 'known' brands of drill drivers. however, from a service tech i spoke to, he tells me the innards are not the same and are manufatured under license from the far east at a price (on offer).
this makes some parts like the motor unobtainable and even the moiuntings inside are difrent molding so normal stuff wont fit!!
screwfix is b&q merlin group?
Hope my TURBOGOLD screws and Fisher brown plugs I get from Screwfix are professional enough! :leaving:
Those are pretty good yea tho never understood the purpose of the " air valve" on the boxView attachment 27068 got these bad boys, they work hard and have not let me down, being 4 ah they have a bit of clout

Another nugget of knowledge from AlexThe case is rated to IP65, meaning that it is completely dust-proof and can withstand water jets. A relief valve is built into the lid in case a pressure differential makes the lid difficult to open.
